Each bag uses the equivalent manufacturing resources of 11 plastic bags, but is designed to replace hundreds of single use bags. Every time it is used, it replaces 4 plastic bags or 2 paper bags. Used twice a week for two years, each one can replace approximately 832 plastic bags over its lifetime.
How Many Bags Do I Need?
Each bag can hold the equivalent load of 3-4 plastic bags or 2 paper bags. Four or five bags will hold the contents of a completely filled shopping cart.
What Makes This Bag Better?
It has a bottom stiffener that protects your items and that is easily removed for quick clean up. The handles are long enough to hang on your shoulder but short enough to dangle at your sides. Bags stand up straight for loading or unloading.
They fold neatly for storage. And they look great!
How Do I Wash It?
These bags repel odor, dirt, and liquids. A quick shake and wipe down of the bottom stiffener is often all it needs. All bags are machine washable in cold water (line dry). No shrinkage! No fading!
What Is It Made Of?
They are 100% non-woven polypropylene (PP or plastic #5). PP is recyclable, non-toxic, allergy free, and non-reactive to food or human skin. Our bags use the resources of 11 plastic bags, but they are designed to replace hundreds.
